The 2013 Lexus LS is due to be revealed on Monday but Lexus has already revealed the first official photo of the new LS.
We reported earlier this month that the new 2013 Lexus LS was on the way – including an LS F Sport version - and that Lexus would be revealing their new flagship on 30th July.
But hot on the heels of a couple of leaked photos of the new LS, Lexus has decided to be pragmatic and release an official first image of the 2013 LS ahead of the official reveal next week.
Lexus has given us no detail at all to accompany the photo so we don’t know exactly what they have planned for the new LS. But on this evidence – of what seems to be the new LS460 F-Sport – the 2013 LS is much more a facelift than a new car.
Apart from some tweaking round the lights – front and back – and the addition of the big, in-your-face grill from the GS F-Sport – this ‘New’ LS seems more of a tweak than an overhaul.
That said, the new grill – love it or hate it – does make the LS far more bold than the rather generic model we have at the moment.
As for what Lexus has done under the bonnet of the LS for 2013, we’re going to have to wait until after the weekend to find out. But we won’t be shocked to discover the LS 460 F-Sport is purely cosmetic and that the UK will still only get the LS600 hybrid.
