2013 Mercedes E-Class Coupe & Cabriolet: Price and Specification

The recently revealed facelift for the 2013 Mercedes E Class Coupe and Cabriolet now has a price and specification. The E-Class Coupe will cost from £35,095 and the Cabriolet from £38,465.

The recent facelift for the Mercedes E Class Cabriolet and Coupe – and the saloon and estate – was so extensive it could almost be considered a ‘new’ E Class, rather than a facelifted one, with proper sheet metal changes, added equipment and economy improvements.

The facelift has meant a revised model lineup across the E Class range with just two trim levels, with the entry-level model getting SE trim – but only for the E 220 CDI – and the AMG Sport available across all engine options – E 220 CDI, E 250 CDI and E 350 BlueTEC diesels and E200 petrol.

Both trim levels come with COMAND, DAB, speed sensitive electric steering, partial LEDs, Active Park Assist, Attention Assist and Collision Prevention Assist, with the SE getting 17″ alloys, Sport grill, leather, heated front seats and aluminium trim. The E 220 CDI SE Coupe costs from £35,095 and the Cabriolet from £38,465.

But the big seller will be the AMG Sport trim which come with 18″ alloys, upgraded front brakes with perforated discs, AMG body kit, twin-pipe exhaust, contour heated front seats, Nappa leather flat bottomed AMG steering wheel and AMG mats. The E 220 CDI AMG Sport Coupe costs from £37,590 and the cabriolet from £41,085.

As well as the big changes the E-Class coupe and cabriolet get for 2013, the E-Class Cabriolet also gets the Aircap wind deflector that engages at 25mph and disengages at 10mph and the roof can be raised or lowered in 20 seconds at speeds up to 25mph.

The headline price for the new E Class coupe and cabriolet is just the starting point though, with stuff like the AMG Sports Pack Plus adding £1795, LED Intelligent lights £1280 and special colours – like Aragonite Silver – an extra £645.
