The 2015 Skoda Superb Estate will cost from £19,480 in the UK for the Superb Estate S rising to £31,840 for the Lauren & Klement version.
It’s only a week since the new Skoda Super Estate was revealed, and Skoda has already worked out prices and specs for the UK with the new Estate costing from £19,480 for the entry-level S model, and heading up to £31,840 for the all-singing, all-dancing Laurent & Klement version. Which is pretty much as expected.
With a better look, more room and a higher spec across the range, the Superb Estate certainly looks like it can give the Ford Mondeo Estate a run for its money, and with seven engine options and five trim levels – S, SE, SE Business, SE L Executive and Laurin & Klement – there’s plenty of choice.
Engine options include four TSI petrol versions and three TDI diesels, with power outputs ranging from 120PS in the 1.6 litre TDI to 280PS in the 2.0 litre TSI, with the option of a DSG gearbox and 4WD on some models.
Despite an improvement in spec levels across the range, Skoda has managed to bring in the entry-level S model at just £25 more than the current model, with new goodies including a ‘Kick to Open’ boot, SmartLink with Apple and Android integration, Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Traffic Alert, Park Assist and Traffic Jam Assist.
All models get alloys, Air Con, LED rear lights, DAB, Bluetooth, Touchscreen, Multi Collision Brake and autonomous emergency braking, with SE models (from £22,390) adding in 17″ alloys, Climate, rear parking sensors, Adaptive Cruise, SmartLink and even a pair of umbrellas.
Next run up the ladder is the SE Business which throws in Alcantara upholstery, parking sensors all round, privacy glass and Sat Nav and can be had with the 1.6 litre 120PS diesel or the 150PS 2.0 litre diesel.Prices for this mode, start at £22,735.
One down from the summit of Superb estate goodness is the SE L Executive which adds bi-xenon headlights with LED running lights, leather, heated front seats, upgraded Sat Nav, 18″ alloys and an electric boot, with prices starting at £25,420.
If you want all the toys in Skoda’s cupboard, then the Superb Estate Laurent & Kelment model should float your boat, with 18″ Pegasus anthracite alloys, 3-zone Climate, heated rear seats, 10-speaker Canton Sound, Piano Black trim, TV Tuner, Blind Spot Detection, Lane Assist, Park Assist and Keyless. Skoda call it the most luxurious and technology-packed car ever to wear the Skoda badge.
The new Skoda Superb Estate will start to arrive in the UK in the middle of September.
