The recent facelift for the Mercedes C-Class Coupe and Cabriolet goes on sale in the UK, with prices starting at £37,620 for the C 200 AMG Line Coupé.
Starting point for the titivated range is the C 200 AMG Line Coupé with the new 1.5 litre petrol and 48V EQ boost mild hybrid, costing from £37,620, and the C 200 Cabriolet at £41,439. The Coupe can also be had with 4MATIC four-wheel drive and there’s also a 251bhp C 300 Coupe available.
The C 220d uses a new 2.0 litre diesel with 191bhp, and for now that’s it apart from the C 43 4MATIC which gets 385bhp and costs £51,965 for the Coupe and £54,489 for the Cabriolet.
Picking trim levels is easy in the new C-Class, because all you can have is AMG Line.
That means 10.25″ media display, Keyless, Mirror Package, 18″ alloys, high end headlights, sports suspension, DAB, Airscarf (on the Cabriolet) and the 9G-Tronic nine-speed auto ‘box.
If there’s not enough spec for you, you can add the £2,795 Premium Package for stuff like the 12.3″ instrument panel, Comand online and LED lights, the Premium Plus Package (£4,995 but just £3,595 for the Cabriolet) which adds Burmester Sound, 360 Camera and Panoramic Roof. Other options include the £1,695 Driving assistance Package and the £895 Dynamic Handling Package.
The new Mercedes C-Class Coupe and Cabriolet are now on sale at Mercedes’ UK dealers with first customer cars due in July.
