The Abarth 500C & Abarth Punto Evo - UK Goodwood Debut
The Abarth 500C and the Abarth Punto Evo get their UK debut at Goodwood this weekend and we get UK prices.
You would be forgiven for thinking that the centre of the universe has moved to somewhere close to Chichester on the English South Coast. And for all things petrolhead – at least for this weekend – it has. Because anyone who loves cars is making the annual pilgrimage to the Goodwood Festival of Speed and every car maker worth their salt tries to do something new at Goodwood.
Fiat are taking along the hot versions of the 500 convertible – the Abarth 500C – and of the Punto Evo – the Abarth Punto Evo – for their first public outing in the UK. And they’ve finally come up with prices for both cars.
The Abarth 500C – which will be a hoot every summer with 140 horses from its 4-pot 1.4 litre turbo – comes in at £17,500 whilst the Abarth Punto Evo – with 165 horses from its 1.4 litre turbo – arrives at a not unreasonable £16,500.
Both the Abarth 500C and the Abarth Punto Evo go on sale two weeks today (1th July) so if you’re quick you may manage to get one on the roads before the summer ends.
