The first official photos of Audi’s new Audi A7 Sportback have leaked ahead of the reveal tomorrow
We reported last week that Audi were due to reveal the Audi A7 Sportback tomorrow (Monday) at the Pinakothek der Moderne München in Munich. So it’s hardly a shock that the first official photos of the new Audi A7 Sportback have turned up ahead of the event.
With the official reveal tomorrow – and some official detail likely to drop in to our inbox sooner than that after this leak – there isn’t too much point going in to huge speculation about what’s to come. Better to wait a few hours to get the facts.
But what we can see is a car which is very close to the original concept. The obvious stuff has been changed – the door mirrors are now a production sized offering, for example – but it really does look very close. Which is just as well; the A7 Sportback Concept got great feedback from press and public so massive changes weren’t an option.
We’re still being told that it’s just the A7 up for reveal tomorrow. That may be right, but we’re fairly sure we’ll also get the S7 when Audi reveals the new car to the public at the Paris Motor Show.
Back later with the official bumph.
