We have spy video of the new The Audi A7 (below)
The Audi A7 – a four door coupe – will launch in 2010 and we have spy video of the A7 winter testing in Norway.
The Audi A7 seems to have been coming for a long time now. A swoopy, four-door coupe it’s yet another of Audi’s attempts at niche-filling, and is aimed straight at rivals such as the CLS from Mercedes.
We heard rumours that the A7 would make an appearance at the Detroit Motor Show this month – but it didn’t – and the speculation has now moved on to the Geneva Motor Show in March. That seems to have been discounted by Audi in Norway – which is where the video at the bottom was shot – who told DN.no who asked them that the Audi A7 will actually turn up at the Moscow Motor Show in August.
The A7 does look to be a handsome car. It follows the fashion for the four-door swoopy-coupe and appears to have a non-Audi looking back end, but it’s hard to judge from the video and the disguise just how it’s changed from the concept (A7 concept gallery after the video below).
Expected the A7 to come with everything from the 2.0 litre diesel on up, and we already know that there will be an Audi S7 after Audi’s Design Director Stefan Sielaff let slip the S7 was in the mix last month.
