The entire Audi RS5 brochure has leaked out

The creators of the digital brochure for the new Audi RS5 have posted the entire contents on their website – before Audi has had chance to release the details of the RS5 which is due at Geneva.

We’ve been expecting Audi’s hot A5 – the Audi RS5 – for a bit longer than we initially expected. We ran a few stories last year on the Audi RS5 testing at the Nurburgring, and the general consensus was that it would turn up at Frankfurt in September and be in showrooms early in 2010. But that didn’t happen. But it’s a certainty that the Audi RS5 will be at Geneva next month after the entire RS5 brochure has appeared online – but not via Audi.

Audi have used a company which specialises in the creation of digital brochures – RECOM in Stuttgart – who are so chuffed with what they’ve created for the RS5 they’ve put the entire digital brochure up on their website. Trouble is, Audi hasn’t released the pictures yet. That’s going to take some explaining.

So ahead of what Audi intended, we get all the images that should have been released bu Audi – probably next week. We don’t get any detail on the oily bits, although we’re pretty certain the RS5 gets the 4.2 litre from the R8 delivering 450bhp and coupled to a 7 speed S-Tronic box which should give us a 0-60mph in low 4 seconds. Would have been nice if we’d had a V10 as was originally hoped, by thems the times.
