The BMW M4 Convertible Edition 30 Jahre arrives as a limited run of just 300 M5 Convertibles to celebrate 30 years of M Convertibles. Just 30 for the UK from £76,675.
That first BMW M Convertible was the M3, but these days the 3 Series range doesn’t have a convertible since BMW decided its convertible and coupe 3 Series cars should be 4 Series instead. But the lineage is intact.
The M4 Convertible Edition 30 Jahre comes with a choice of Macao Blue metallic – a nod to the first M3 Convertible – and Frozen Dark Grey Metallic (exclusive to the UK). But it doesn’t look like you can get the yellow paint job you can see in the gallery (below).
Other titivations include High Gloss Shadow trim dotted around, 20″ alloys in Orbit Grey matt, Merino full leather, contrast stitching on the mats and headrests, carbon fibre trim, “30 Jahre Edition” door sills and a numbered “30 Jahre Edition” plaque on the passenger side dash.
The 30 Jahre is based on the M4 Competition Pack so it gets a bit more power than the regular M4 – 444bhp instead of 425bhp – an M Exhaust and adaptive suspension.
The BMW M4 Convertible Edition 30 Jahre costs from £76,675, with just 30 of the 300 run earmarked for the UK. So if you want one, you’d better get a shake on.
