The Bugatti Veyron L’Edition Centenaire was shown to the world at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este event in May, and the first car to be delivered to a Bugatti Dealers has turned up this week at Jack Barclay (H.R. Owen) in London.

Veyron Limited Editions are becoming so prolific that before long it will in truth be the standard car that is the limited edition. But this is a good one. Designed to commemorate historic Bugatti racing drivers from the annuls of Motors Sport history, there are four versions. The first, and the car here, is in British Racing Green and Chrome, and commemorates Sir Malcolm Campbell.

The other three Centenaires are in White/Chrome for Hermann zu Leiningen  and Germany; Blue/Chrome for Jean-Pierre Wimille and France and Red/Chrome for Achille Varzi and Italy. Each of the cars have the commemorated driver’s signature embroidered in to the seats.

Additional feature of the L’Edition Centenaire include special alloy wheels and LED lights plus of course the polished bodywork we first saw on the Bugatti Veyron Pur Sang.

As they say, if you need to ask the price you can’t afford it, but just in case the Lottery Fairies have been round to play at your place, you can buy the L’Edition Centenaire for €1.4 million +VAT. Which works out somewhere in the region of  £1.4 million.

But if you offer to take all four editions of the Centenaire, I’m sure you could negotiate a discount!
