The Chevrolet Cruze Hatch - will show at Geneva
Chevrolet reveal the Chevrolet Cruze Hatch, due to be revealed at the Geneva Motor Show. And it seems to be the same Chevy Cruze Hatch they revealed at Paris.
Chevrolet are working hard to make their offerings credible and appealing for Europe. Which we applaud. They’ve even gone so far as to brand a Chevy with the word ‘hatch’ – the Chevy Cruze Hatch – even though Americans don’t ‘Get’ the whole hatch thing.
Which might explain why, having revealed the Chevy Cruze Hatch in Paris, they’re planning on doing so again at Geneva in March. We can only assume that a hatch is so alien to Chevrolet they’ve eradicated from their minds the detail of that first reveal at Paris.
Chevrolet say that “…the newcomer will draw styling influences from the Cruze Hatchback concept previewed at the Paris Motor Show last September”, only the photo they sent us with the press release is the exact same photo as the one we had last September. That’s some influence.
Oh, well. Chevy must be overworked at the moment with the number of new models running around, so we’ll forgive their little lapse of memory. So what does the Cruze Hatch offer, as that’s rather the point? Well, much the same as it did when we revealed it in September. It’s a Chevy Cruze with a Hatch. And it goes on sale in the Summer.
