Citroen C1 – backwards round a Multi-Storey to promote Dunlop
Dunlop has taken a trio of bright yellow Citroen C1s for a backwards jaunt round a multi-storey car park.
We already know what a lot of fun the Toyota Aygo/Peugeot 107/Citroen C1 are. We reviewed the 107 recently and had a blast. It really is as manouverable and chuckable as it looks when Top Gear use it to play football.
Which probably explains why Dunlop chose the Citroen C1 for their latest promo video. Dunlop has taken a trio of bright yellow Citroen C1s off to a multi-storey car park to strut their stuff. Or more accurately - certainly from Dunlop’s point of view – strut their tyres.
We get treated to a complete, highy speed jaunt round a multi-storey car park – in reverse. Dunlop are adamant that the entire footage is filmed in real time and the cars really are being driven backwards for the whole sequence.
We’re not completely convinced – the bit on the curly-whirly down-ramp doesn’t look real – but we’re happy to be assured it is in fact real.
Still – a bit of fun.
