Citroen DS3 Racing - video below
We’ve now managed to get hold of a video of the latest hot Citroen – the limited edition Citroen DS3 Racing
Earlier on today we reported that Citroen is launching the DS3 Racing, a hot-hatch version of the new DS3. And whenever we report on a new car it’s always nice to have a video to go with it. But the one we got from Citroen has the perceptive all screwed up so we’ve had a play and a tweak and managed to fix it.
It’s all very well posting a pile of pictures of the DS3 Racing and telling you that it’s a tweaked and sorted DS3 with pushing on 200bhp that makes liberal use of orange to make a point. But there’s no substitute for seeing a car in motion to make a judgement – even if that’s just on a VT.
So you can decide for yourselves whether the DS3 Racing is bang on the money or OTT. As with all cars like this, the trouble is that the visuals are aimed at the kids, but the kids couldn’t afford the insurance even if they could rake up the money for the car (which going off the enormous sums we’ve seen spent on a C1 the kids can rake up the money from somewhere – don’t ask).
But we do have to say that the DS3 is striking. Not sure I’d want it as daily drive, but it has lots of promise and would be a great toy for a country blast.
