The new Clio Renault Sport can now be had in a Black Edition model, adding a new menacing air to Renault’s hot hatch and costing from only £200.
Which might make you think it’s a bit early for Renault to be thinking about ‘Special Edition’ Clio Renault Sport to grab buyers interest.
But this Black Edition of the Clio Renault Sport 200 and 220 Trophy is actually more of a Black Edition ‘Pack’ than anything else, just adding some menacing black bits to the regular car.
On the Sport 200 that means a set of 17″ black Renault Sport wheels and black gloss finish for the door handles, side mouldings, front blade, tailgate moulding and badge and the rear diffuser.
The Clio Renault Sport 220 doesn’t get the black alloys in the Black Edition ‘Pack, but it does get the same gloss black trim treatment as the 200.
That means the Black Edition for the 220 Trophy costs just £200, and even the 200 will only set you back £350 with the upgraded alloys. Which is about what it’d cost you to have them painted that way by an alloy specialist.
You can now add the Black Edition option to your order for a Clio Renault Sport 200 or 220 Trophy at your Renault dealer.
