Ferrari 458 Italia Goodwood hillclimb video

The Ferrari 458 Italia Goodwood Festival of Speed 2010

The Ferrari 458 Italia starts the hillclimb at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2010

Ferrari were out in force at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend with F1 cars, historical cars, the 458 Italia and the 599 GTO.

The Goodwood Festival of Speed wouldn’t be the same without a Ferrari or three blasting up the hillclimb or doing donuts at every given opportunity. And this year was no different with two of Ferrari’s latest on display in the form of the 458 Italia and the 599 GTO.

And just like last year Ferrari were active in the Supercar Run up the hillclimb and just like last year they filmed it and sent it to us. This year the video is of the 458 Italia doing the hillclimb (last year it was the Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M on the hillclimb) and although the cars in the Supercar Runs aren’t officially timed the 458 Italia did the 1.16 mile run in 54 seconds. None too shoddy.

The new Ferrari 599 GTO also had a play on the hillclimb – although Ferrari has decided not to tell us its time – and the California (top down) did the hillclimb in 57 seconds. Ferrari driver Marc Gene played with the  Ferrari F60 2009 F1 car , reaching speeds of over 150mph as he approached the famous flint wall.

Lots of good, clean petrolhead fun.
