Hyundai has revealed that the new i20 Active Crossover will cost from £15,225 in the UK as it reveals updates across the i20 range for 2016.
The Hyundai i20 Active debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show last year as an i20 with added butch and a raised ride height to create an i20 Crossover, which now goes on sale in the UK from £15,225.
Standard equipment for the i20 Active includes 17″ alloys, LED running lights, DAB and rear parking sensors, as well as the bits that make it the Active like more rugged-looking bumpers, roof rails, a rear spoiler and raised ride height.
The i20 Active is only available with Hyundai’s new 1.0 litre T-GDi 100PS engine, which offers official economy of 58.9mpg and emissions of 110g/km.
The Hyundai i20 Active goes on sale on 3 March 2016 at Hyundai’s UK dealers.
2016 Hyundai i20 range updates
As well as announcing prices for the i20 Active, Hyundai has also revealed a raft of updated for the rest of the i20 range for 2016.
The new 1.0 litre T-GDi 100PS engine will replace the 1.4 litre 100PS manual i20s (along with a £400 price increase) and offering better economy (65.7mpg and 99g/km). Costing from £14,024, the new engine will be available on SE and above i20s.
There’s also a new 1.0 T-GDi with 120PS for the i20 Premium and Coupe Sport versions – the most powerful engine so far for the i20 – which will cost from £15,525.
Other 2016 updates for the i20 range in clude DAB and new 15″ alloys for the SE, and TomTom Live Traffic for the Premium Nav, Premium SE Nav and Sport Nav models.
