The Jaguar Land Rover Classic Works has officially opened, with JLR’s Classic Car Collection on display and sales and restorations offered on-site.
Covering 14,000 square metres, the new Classic Works is the largest of its kind in the world and not only delivers full restoration services and dedicated zones for creating JLR’s re-borne classics but als houses the Jaguar Land Rover Classic Collection of more than 500 cars.
JLR now has more than 80 specialists with decades of experience working on classic Jaguars and Land Rovers, who now have the latest cutting-edge technology – including 3D scanning – which allows the recreation of classic parts which were once too expensive to produce.
John Edwards, JLR Special Operations MD, said:
Classic Works is hugely important to Jaguar Land Rover. It’s much more than a building – it’s the heart, and soul, of Jaguar Land Rover Classic for our clients worldwide.
Being able to support owners and enthusiasts of our two great brands with a full suite of services for classic vehicles is a fantastic opportunity.
As well as the whole range of classic cars on display, full restoration services, the recreation of ‘Continuation’ models and classic car sales, you can also experience a selection of drives in classic Jaguars and Land Rovers and, from September, take a three hour guided tour of the Classic Car Works for £49.
