We recently enjoyed a week with the new Jaguar XJ, in this case a beautiful 3.0 litre diesel Portfolio )top of the model tree) finished in black with great tan leather, or to put it in Jaguar-Speak, Ultimate Black with London Tan & Black.

We’ve made no secret of how enamoured we are of Jaguar’s new big car. In our eyes it has a style and lines that put every other car in its sector firmly in the shade. It’s not the best at everything but the package it offers is better than every other big, luxury car on the market.

So we had to let our snappers loose on the new XJ, and they managed a couple of locations for the pictures and even a few on the move shot. We think they’ve done it justice although we may have to invest in a studio soon to get the very best of the interior (and an angle grinder to take the roof off – not sure how well that will go down).
