Kia has revealed the Kia Cadenza ‘Near Luxury’ large saloon car – which is a production version of the KND-5 Concept – and will launch at the Dubai Motor Show and go on sale in 2010.
The Cadenza is the production version of the KND-5 Concept Kia showed earlier this year and is an A6 sized luxury saloon which will go on sale around the world in 2010. Designed in Europe – by a team headed by an ex Audi designer – the Cadenza is a very convincing up-market saloon aimed at taking on the German offerings. And it looks like it has the goods to deliver on the promise.
Technology is at the forefront of Kia’s aims with the Cadenza, and it features such goodies as heated steering wheel, LED lights, ventilated seats, a panoramic roof, powered seat cushions and ambient mood lighting. The KND-5 sported a 3.5 litre V6, but expect to see a full range of engine options when the Cadenza launches.
The Kia Cadenza will premier at the Dubai Motor Show later this year before going on sale around the world in 2010.
