There’s a new Koenigsegg heading for a debut at the Geneva Motor Show next week – the Koenigsegg RS – which will replace the Agera R & S.
It’s not every day you get a new Koenigsegg, but the 2015 Geneva Motor Show will see the arrival of a new car from the Swedes for the second year in a row – the Koenigsegg Agera RS.
Last year saw the arrival of the Koenigsegg One:1, the most extreme hypercar Koenigsegg – or almost anyone else – has ever produced, and the new Agera RS will take what Koenigsegg learnt and apply it to the new model.
That new model will get more downforce thanks to the aerodynamic work on the One:1 as well as extra power, but not so much it rains on the One:1’s parade.
Koenigsegg are being a little coy about exactly what’s on offer, but the new car is said to be the best looking Koenigsegg yet and will replace the Agera R and Agera S in Koenigsegg’s range, leaving it as the only model you’re going to be able to buy, at least for now.
The new Koenigsegg Agera RS will debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month, by which time we hope to have a little more than just the new car’s logo (above) to whet our appetites.
