Lamborghini Reventon Roadster leaks

Finally we have the first pictures of the Lamborghini Reventon Roadster that will show at Frankfurt

We’ve been banging on about the Lamborghini Reventon Roadster ever since we exclusively revealed that Lamborghini were going to do a drop-top version of the Reventon Coupe back in March. We also revealed recently that the Reventon Roadster was likely to launch at Frankfurt, and finally we have the proof with the first leaked pictures.

The Reventon Roadster details are still a bit under wraps, but we’re pretty certain it will be powered by the same lump as the LP650-4 Roadster which is currently making its way down Lamborghini’s production line. That will endow the Reventon Roadster with a 0-60mph time of around 3.4 seconds.

There is still an outside chance that the Roadster will get the engine from the LP670-4, but that’s a ‘Wait and See’ scenario until Lamborghini coughs up some proper detail.

The Reventon Roadster will be available as soon as next month. We know the first car is due to be delivered to the end customer in October, and the cars are already being made. List price will be €1,100,000 +tax and we’re told that Lamborghini will announce on the launch day the number of cars that are going to be built. And that number will be the number of Reventon Roadsters that have had the €300,000 deposit paid up.
