A limited edition Lexus RC F 10th Anniversary model celebrates a decade since Lexus first used the ‘F’ moniker on its performance models.
It’s a whole decade since Lexus delivered its first ‘F’ badged car to announce to the world that a Lexus can get up and go too, which is a good excuse for this – the Lexus RC F 10th Anniversary limited edition model.
The Lexus RC F is an appealing bit of kit, with its good looks, high spec and naturally-aspirated V8 (how rare that’s becoming), and it’s a performance saloon for those who think a BMW M4 or AMG C63 is just a bit too ‘German’ – or a bit too common.
Now you can have an even more uncommon RC F with this limited edition 10th anniversary model from Lexus, suitably titivated to make it a bit more appealing than the regular RC F.
Those titivations include a matt Mercury Grey paint job, high gloss black 19″ forged alloys, Blue Brembo callipers with the ‘F’ logo and ‘F’ badging on the front wings.
Inside there’s a Blue Carbon theme with sports seats in the front finished in vivid blue leather with white accents, black leather in the back and a ‘Special Edition’ plaque, as well as Mark Levinson Surround System, 10.3″ Lexus PremiumNav infotainment.
Included in the price is the RC F Carbon Pack pack with carbon fibre bonnet, roof and active rear spoiler, Torque Vectoring Diff, Adaptive Variable suspension and Variable Dynamics and plenty of safety stuff with the Lexus Safety System+.
This is a cosmetic and equipment limited edition, so power from the RC F’s V8 stays at 457bhp, with an eight-speed Sport auto ‘box – enough for 0-62mph in 4.5 seconds.
The Lexus RC F 10th Anniversary goes on sale at Lexus’ UK dealers on 1 July 2018 from £69,995.
