McLaren are out in force for the Goodwood Festival of Speed weekend with the 2013 MP4-12C, 2011 F1 cars and the GREAT GT3 12C.
The 2013 McLaren MP4-12C will be on show for the first time complete with its extra 25bhp, programmable engine note, remote passenger door opening and extra trim options. And the 2013 12C won’t be just a static display but will be blatting up the hillclimb in the hands of Jenson Button.
Button and Lewis Hamilton will also be playing with McLaren’s 2011 F1 cars, which are on display, with runs up the hillclimb planned for the cars on Saturday with both Lewis and Jenson behind the wheel.
McLaren are also taking along a newly liveried GT3 12C which has been patriotically titivated as McLaren shows its support for the UK Government’s ‘GREAT’ campaign to blow the trumpet for Britain. The GT3 12C will be running on the Hill programme on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Lots of McLaren goodness at Goodwood then, including a couple of ‘Faces’ planned to run the hill as passengers in the Supercar run on Saturday and Sunday.
