A surprise new BMW Zagato Roadster Concept is teased ahead of a debut at Pebble Beach later this month.
A one-off collaboration between BMW and Zagato at Villa D’Este is one thing, but to follow that up a few months later with a Roadster version makes us think the protestations that the Villa D’Este car was a one-off were a tad disingenuous.
All we have so far is the dark teaser image from BMW, but it’s clearly a Roadster version of the Coupe we saw at Villa D’Este. Whether the Zagato Roadster will get a folding metal roof complete with double-bubble trademark roof remains to be seen.
As does the intent of these two BMW Zagato models; are BMW signposting a new Z4, or are they pointing towards a limited run of BMW Zagato cars as a coupe and a roadster?
