With the production version of the MINI Paceman now revealed, MINI has produced a couple of videos to show off its new Coupe.
The new MINI Paceman, the Coupe version of the MINI Countryman and MINI’s answer to the Range Rover Evoque, was revealed earlier this week before heading off to thye 2012 Paris Motor Show.
And although MINI did manage to produce a whole heap of photos of the new Paceman, there’s nothing quite like a video or two to get proper perspective.
So now MINI has released a couple of videos of the new Paceman, one showing the Paceman on the road and the other a series of video shots of the interior and exterior highlighting the Paceman’s features, we get a better idea of proportions and features.
And actually, the MINI Paceman does look convincing. It’s not going to win any beauty competitions with the bulbous Countryman nose, but losing the back doors and getting a more coupe ro0ofline does make the balance of the Paceman a bit more appealing than the Countryman.
Whether that’s enough to make buyers eschew the Range Rover Evoque in favour of the Paceman, we doubt. But with prices that undercut the Evoque by up to £15k at the top end, the new MINI Paceman is still going to find a ready market.
