Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster at Geneva 2010

The Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster Geneva

Pagani are taking Zonda Cinque Roadster #4 to Geneva

Pagani are taking the last of the Zondas to the Geneva Motor Show – the Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster – probably the last time a Zonda will be at a major motor show.

Most of the stories we’ve had recently on Pagani have been on the Pagani C9, which will be revealed in September once Horacio Pagani has decided what to call it. But we’d have a small bet on the Pagani Fangio.

But we mustn’t forget the the Pagani Zonda is still with us and that the latest iteration of that is the Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster. So to make sure that Pagani has something of interest on its stand at Geneva (and let’s face it, any Pagani is of interest) Horacio and the boys are taking car #4 of 5 Cinque Roadsters to the show (pictured above).

Just as a reminder, the Cinque Roadster performs just as well as its Coupe sibling thanks to the incredibly stiff carbon-titanium chassis. The 679bhp V12 Mercedes lump manages to push the Cinque to 60mph in 3.2 seconds and on to a top speed of 220mph.

However, if you’re thinking of buying one you’re probably out of luck. Despite the not inconsiderable list price – €1,300,000 + tax – the Cinque Roadsters are all spoken for. This is probably the last time Pagani will roll out the Zonda for a major motor show. By the time Frankfurt comes round in September we should have the C9.

Or the Pagani Fangio, as we like to think of it.
