The new Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV Configurator has gone live on Rolls-Royce’s website, allowing you to start the build process for your perfect luxury SUV.
After what seemed like endless teasing and official spy shots, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan was finally revealed last week, and it’s very…impressive.
It’s impressive because of the scale and price, impressive because it has an interior which seems to be up there with the Phantom, and it’s impressive because Rolls-Royce claim it can tackle the rough stuff just like a Range Rover. But it’s not a looker.
But even if the Cullinan is a bit of an eyesore, it will sell in bigger numbers than probably any other Rolls-Royce, and if you were wondering how those uber-wealthy buyers who will be adding the Cullinan to their fleets will start the process of choosing options, wonder no more. Just try the Rolls-Royce Cullinan Configurator, which is now live on RR’s website.
In reality, the configurator is both a bit clunky and a bit lacking in detail, and if it’s designed as anything more than a toy for the poor to dream, it’s simply as a starting point for bored potential buyers taking a first look, rather than a ‘Spec and Buy’ option.
RR give you the option of a number of ‘Inspired Specs’ as a starting point and to stop you from building something taste forgot, but you can ignore it and play. There’s the usual wheel and interior options to pick from, and the option to add your perfect umbrella.
But when you’ve finished playing, apart from images of your spec, all you’re invited to do is contact a dealer or to ‘Discover Bespoke’.
Still, it wastes 15 minutes.
