The Skoda Kodiaq vRS is teased again – this time on video – ahead of its debut at the Paris Motor Show next month.
We had a tease for the new Kodiaq vRS in August, and with the new performance Kodiaq due to debut at the Paris Motor Show next month Skoda are back with a new tease – a video one this time (below).
Skoda are keen you know that the new Kodiaq vRS (Kodiaq RS for non-UK readers) is the first ever Skoda to offer Dynamic Sound Boost which intensifies the dound of the engine based on which driving mode you’ve selected and, say Skoda, makes the vRS more enjoyable to drive.
Also confirmed is the most powerful diesel engine in a Skoda, with 237bhp sent to all four wheels and with adaptive suspension. Which is clearly the same setup as the VW Tiguan 2.0 litre Bi-Turbo.
Other confirmed spec include the crystalline-effect full-LED headlights (on which the video ‘focuses’), an optional metallic Race Blue (available for the first time on a Skoda) and virtual cockpit as standard.
It all looks a quite appealing prospect if you want a warm compact SUV (and should be cheaper than the VW Tiguan equivalent), with performance likely to be very close to the Tiguan’s 0-62mph in 6.5 seconds.
