Smart ForTwo Edition Highstyle hits UK
Smart has announced a new limited edition model for the UK – the Smart ForTwo Edition Highstyle – with a high spec and custom chocolate brown paint job.
The Smart Edition Highstyle is a colour throwback to the seventies, based on the ‘Passion’ Spec. You get chocolate brown paintwork and 15″ alloys, with some aluminium-look ‘Highstyle’ badges thrown in. But I suppose that’s the problem with getting older. The ‘Trendy’ stuff has always been before, and you start to remember it first time round. I felt the same about white cars – although on some models they’re growing on me – and chocolate brown just shouts ‘Seventies’ to me. Oh, well.
The inside of the Edition Highstyle gets leather metallic heated seats in silver, with leather inserts in the doors and the dash. There’s some matt silver detailing splashed around and a leather-trimmed wheel with gear shift buttons. You get an integrated Pioneer SatNav and sound system with Bluetooth, iPod and USB connectivity.
Only 215 Edition Highlight models are coming to the UK, with a choice of either the 71bhp engine or the turbo 84bhp unit.
The Smart ForTwo Edition Highstyle starts at £10,900.
