The BBC has released a video trailer for an upcoming final episode of Top Gear featuring Clarkson, Hammond and May in probably their final appearance on the BBC. For now, at least.
Not only has the Beeb finished filming the links, they look like they’re close to finishing what could be the last ever episode of Top Gear with Clarkson front and centre, with the release of a TG video trailer for a single, extended episode bringing together the unseen footage from series 22.
The first missing episode should have had a piece on Classic Cars – with real ale and beards, no doubt – with Jeremy in a a Fiat 124 Spyder, Richard in an MGB GT and James in a Peugeot 304 Cabriolet. The same episode should have included the new Volkswagen Golf R and the Subaru WRX STi.
The other missing episode was scheduled to feature Jeremy playing with the ultimate in luxury limos, as well as a set piece with bargain SUVs, with Jeremy in a Vauxhall Frontera, James in a Shogun Pinin and Richard in a Jeep Cherokee, complete with an off-road challenge, watersports and caravans.
Just how much of this will make the final episode – which will air before too long in an extended format – we’ll have to wait and see.
