Top Gear video with James May and Ken Block
There have always been the odd duff episodes in Top Gear over the years. But this season is stacking up to be a corker, and that’s going to be a problem. Why? Well, just like the rest of you we’re big fans of TG. And it’s hard to resist the temptation to post a video of the show’s highlights. And this week is no different.
If you’ve spent any time online in the last few years you will have come across Ken Block. His car mastery is unsurpassed. He does things with a car that don’t seem possible. He’s perfected the art of driving a car to such a degree that it simply takes your breath away. Just when you think he’s screwed it up he squeezes the car through an impossibly tight corner in a fully controlled four-wheel drift. The man’s a genius.
This week had May going for a ride round an airport in California as Ken Block’s passenger, as Ken showed his exemplary driving skills – on and off road. And just for fun the world’s greatest Motocross rider – Ricky Carmichael – joined in the Mayhem. The 380bhp Subaru WRX STi danced in Ken’s hands and had May laughing with delight.
