Top Gear tonight, episode 2 of series 22, sees the boys in Australia with the BMW M6 Grand Coupe, Nissan GT-R & Bentley Continental GT V8. SIARPC Kiefer Sutherland.
Tonight (1 Feb 2015) sees episode 2 of the new Top Gear series on BBC2, and it could be a good one.
In fact, the central plank of tonight’s episode is almost a Top Gear special on its own – it’s a Road Trip in Australia.
You might have thought something rugged and four-wheel-drive would be the order of the day if you’re driving round Australia’s Northern Territory, but no.
Instead, Jeremy Clarkson opts for the BMW M6 Gran Coupe, Richard Hammond the Bentley Continental GT V8 and James May the Nissan GT-R. Perfect for herding cows on vast ranches.
And herding 4,000 cows on a ranch that’s so big it could take weeks just to find what you’re supposed to be herding is just one of the challenges they’ll face, with crocodile-infested rivers, a race around and open-cast mine (The Stig came too to show how it’s done) and an encounter with the world’s longest lorries also on the agenda.
Tonight’s star in a reasonable priced car is 24 star Kiefer Sutherland, and yes, as far as we know, Jack Bauer can drive, unlike Ed Sheeran last week.
Top Gear – Series 22 Episode 2 – airs tonight on BBC2 at 8pm.
