Toyota GT86 Price & Spec
We already know that the Toyota GT86 will cost £24,995, because Toyota told us so last month. But now we know what your £25k will buy with specifications and options revealed for the GT86 in the UK.
Effectively there is just one GT86 model available, although you can stump up and extra £1500 if you want a six-speed auto ‘box instead of the manual. But whether you choose the manual or auto you’ll get the same standard spec.
The equipment and spec levels are decent enough, with exterior stuff including a rear spoiler, 17″ alloys, chromed twin exhausts, limited slip diff and the ‘T’ mesh grill. Stuff like LED running lights, bi-xenons, fogs and electric mirrors are also included. You’ll also be able to choose from seven colours - Dark Red, Silver metallic, Black metallic, Blue metallic, Dark Red metallic, Orange metallic and Pearl pearlescent.
Inside the GT86 there’s front sports seats, aluminium pedals, red stitching, smart entry, Climate, Cruise, Hill Start, Bluetooth and USB. A more than decent spec and probably enough to satisfy most buyers without resorting to the options list.
On the options list is stuff like leather and Alcantara upholstery and Toyota’s Touch & Go SatNav (the GT86 already has the screen for infotainment) with speed camera warnings and Google local search. You can also add decals to the side, roof and bonnet.
The Toyota GT86 is now on sale with first customer cars expected in July.
