The Volkswagen Amorak Ultimate has been revealed as a limited edition of VW’s double-cab pickup offering the most luxurious Amorak ever.
Mitsubishi recently revealed a new version of their successful L200 Double-Cab pickup, and now it’s VW’s turn to get more buyers in to a pickup that’s also a car with a limited edition (just 500 on offer) version – the Volkswagen Amorak Ultimate.
With the ‘Ultimate’ badge attached – and VW’s assertion that this is the most luxurious Amorak ever – there needs to be plenty of goodies on offer. And there are.
Outside, the Amorak Ultimate gets bi-xenon headlights, 19″ polished alloys, double chrome strips on the grill (a certain sign of posh) and LED running lights, with additional equipment including electric folding and heated door mirrors with added chrome (more posh), LED lighting for the number plate light and darkened lenses in the tail lights.
Inside, the Ultimate enjoys Alcantara seats (we’re not entirely sure how practical these are in a pick-up), leather steering wheel, alloy pedal covers(but only if you buy the auto version – VW clearly couldn’t stretch to three alloy pedals), heated front seats, Sat Nav, reversing camera, privacy glass and Bluetooth.
Power comes from VW-s 2.0 litre BiTDI (which always sounds like an engine that swings both ways) offering 180PS and a towing capacity of 3200kg.
The VW Amorak Ultimate is now on sale with a choice of ,Reflex Silver or Deep Black paint and as a six-speed manual 4MOTION (£29,995 plus vat) or eight-speed auto 4MOTION (£30,970 plus vat).

I think with the Ultimate badge attached, Volkswagen Amorak Ultimate Special Edition is a particular car.
It is good in looks and has stunning black color. It is unique because it has a limited edition. I like it.
