Volvo C30 & C70 - UK Prices & Specs announced

Price and model details for the 2010 Volvo C30 and C70 have been released.

Volvo officially launched the 2010 C30 and the C70 at Frankfurt last month, and have now released price details for the UK.

Volvo has had a play with the C30 and C70 and made a number of changes for 2010. The 2010 C30 gets some new sheet metal at the front to give the Volvo a new nose. The back gets a tweak with a colour-coded valence and there are new colour options. Inside the C30 gets an ‘Ikea’ styling option and new colour-ways, and you can specify sports suspension. The C70 gets a similar nose option to the C30 – both are reminiscent of the S60 Concept – and round the back it gets LEDs, with the inside getting better leather and a new instrument panel.

C30 prices in the UK start at £14,495 with four trim levels on offer – S, SE, SE Lux and R-DESIGN – and six engine options, from the C30 eDrive that emits just 99g/km up to the turbo T5 with 225bhp. Standard kit on the S includes Climate Control, CD with AUX input, DSTC and 16″ alloys. Move up to the SE and you can add extras like Cruise, folding mirrors and 17″ alloys to the spec. The LUX version adds goodies like leather and power seats. The C30 R-Design is based on the S spec and throws in a body kit and sports suspension.

The 2010 C70 comes in three spec levels – S, SE and SE Lux – and four engine options – two diesels and two petrol. Prices start from £25,995 for the C70 S rising to £33,995 for the T5 SE Lux Premium. Spec levels are similar to the C30, with the addition of the ‘Premium’ option which throws in leather and SatNav and can be added to any of the other spec levels.

First deliveries of the new C30 and new C70 are scheduled for January 2010.
