BMW X6 M Sport Edition and X5 Special Edition revealed
BMW has given their big SUVs – the X5 and X6 – a bit of a sport makeover with the arrival of the BMW X5 Special Edition and X6 M Sport Edition.
New car sales aren’t exactly booming at the moment, so expect the arrival of ‘Special Edition’ models to start proliferating further in the coming months as car makers try to tempt buyers to sign on the dotted line.BMW’s latest special edition offerings take their big SUVs – the BMW X5 and X6 – and deliver a bit of a sport makeover to deliver the BMW X5 Special Edition and BMW X6 M Sport edition.
The BMW X6 M Sport Edition comes in Long Beach Blue metallic (although you can have Black or White metallic at no extra cost) as well as some carbon fibre interior trim.
Also in the mix are 20″ alloys (21″ at extra cost), and the M Sport Edition can be specced across the entire X6 range (with the exception of the M50d).
The X5 Special Edition offers BMW’s M Sport package and Dakota leather, with heated front seats in Alcantara and leather, sun protection glass and Multifunctional Instrument Display (although not on the xDrive 40e). Just like the X6 M Sport you can have the ‘SPecial Edition’ option right across the X5 range, apart from on the M50d.
