The Jaguar XF 2.2D is still every bit an XF – as the photos show – but it is more economical than the 3.0D, has lower emissions and is therefore much more appealing to the business buyer.
But for a private buyer – whose car choices are not coloured by BIK rates – we’d suggest opting for the XF 3.0D in a trim level lower, for roughly the same sort of money. In the real world the economy won’t be much different, but the performance will.
