The extreme Koenigsegg Agera One:1 – the car Koenigsegg call a ‘Megacar’ – is heading for a UK debut at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
It was back in 2012 that we exclusively revealed the first official details of the Koenigsegg One:1, the most extreme car Koenigsegg has produced.
Since then, Christian von Koenigsegg and his team have not only built the Agera One:1, but they managed to sell them all first at a price that makes grown men weep and officially revealed it back in February.
Since then, Koenigsegg have been busy showing off the One:1 in a series of videos and giving the One:1 its first public outing at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
Now it’s the turn of the UK to get a close-up look at the One:1, with Koenigsegg taking their Megacar to the Goodwood Festival of Speed next month.
But the Agera One:1 won’t be just a static display at the FoS, instead Koenigsegg plan to unleash its 1340 horses and 1000lb/ft of torque as part of the Michelin Supercar Run and, just to make it that but more special, it will be the first time two One:1s have been seen together.
If you haven’t already done so, now is the time to grab tickets for the Festival of Speed (runs from 26-29 June 2014) if for no other reason than to see (two of) the most powerful production car in the world.
