The seventh and final part of the tease of the 7-seat crossover that is the Infiniti JX ends ahead of an official reveal at Pebble Beach.

We really thought we’d persevered with the Infiniti JX tease all the way to the end. But we hadn’t.

Imagine our horror when tease photo number 83 dropped in to our inbox this afternoon. How on earth are we going to find anything new to say about a jigsaw of Infiniti teaser images?

We’ve already said the JX seems to be a lot better looking than we expected. But then we did expect it to turn out to be Infiniti QX ugly. which is very ugly, on a John Merrick scale of ugly.

This photo is the most revealing we’ve had as it shows almost a normal view from front to back. The JX still looks half decent and promises to be sensibly proportioned, especially for a Sven seat crossover.

As you already know, with various JX monikers trademarked by Infiniti – from JX20 to JX30 – the JX isn’t likely to burn rubber and we think it’ll probably get FWD instead of 4WD.

But it will be well made and roomy, well equipped and probably soporific to drive. Which if you have a pile of people crammed in to a van with windows is probably not a bad thing.

But as we’ll probably never get the Infiniti JX, it’s all a bit academic anyway.
