Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV tease starts
The Rolls-Royce Cullinan – the new ‘High-Sided’ Rolls-Royce – will debut on Thursday 10 May 2018 at noon in the UK, ahead of which Rolls is starting a bit of a mtease for their new SUV.
Rolls-Royce hasn’t been exactly shy about the development of their first ever SUV – although they insist on calling it an HSV (high-sided vehicle) – and have chronicled every move they’ve made in public, effectively consigning spy photos to the bin marked ‘worthless’. Why bother when Rolls-Royce themselves are happy to churn out lots of their own ‘Spy’ shots? So we’ve had everything from the very first Phantom mule for the Cullinan right the way through to the latest raft of tough condition testing being chronicled by National Geographic, with umpteen teases of ‘Spy’ photos in between.
But now the Cullinan is about to be revealed – on Thursday at noon in the UK – so RR has reverted to industry default with a ‘tease’ photo to promote its arrival. Which does seem a bit pointless when you consider the volume of official information they’ve already been responsible for.
Still, it trumpets the Cullinan’s arrival as the ultimate luxury SUV /HSV, complete with Phantom chassis, new 4WD system, V12 power and a cabin expected to be as good as the Phantom’s too.
There will probably be another tease for the Cullinan tomorrow, but it’s only 48 hours until its arrival in any case.
