Hyundai opens new Flagship Showroom

Hyundai has opened a new flagship showroom in Romford, Essex, boasting the largest showroom of any UK Hyundai dealers.

Deep in the heart of south Essex lies a golden triangle – bounded by Romford, Brentwood and Chigwell – where the wildlife sports orange plumage and fluorescent teeth and endless worker ants stream in to the great metropolis down the A12 to earn a crust in their daily grind.

What better place to park a thumping great dealership than in the path of Towie money and commuter traffic thought Bill Cook, Director of Hyundai dealers Essex Motor Company. So we get a new Hyundai flagship dealer plonked loud and proud on the A12 Eastern Avenue at Romford, not a million miles away from other temples erected to the god of four wheels by Mercedes, Toyota, Ford, BMW et al.

The new Hyundai flagship dealers – part of the Essex Motor Company, which also has dealerships in Basildon, Southend and Chelmsford – boasts the biggest single Hyundai showroom in the UK, with space for 17 Hyundais to be on display at the same time and extensive facilities for servicing and after sales stuff.

Tony Whitehorn, Hyundai UK boss, said:

It’s a slightly parochial story if you don’t happen to live or work in London or Essex, but it does demonstrate the rise and rise of Hyundai in the UK which, on current form, seems unstoppable. And what better place to demonstrate that than with a new flagship dealer in Ford’s back yard?
