The Electric Kia Niro is teased in concept guise ahead of a debut at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas and featuring future technology for Kia’s cars.
The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas is a great opportunity for car makers to show their technology, and Kia are heading to Vegas next week with what they’re calling an ‘All-new electric car concept’.
But although it is billed only as a new electric car concept, it’s also the first look at the electric Kia Niro, although there will no doubt be a few ‘concept’ bits on show, as well as a look at some future technology.
Kia re promising tghis Niro Ev Concept will come with a Human Machine Interface we’ve never seen before as well as a motion graphic lighting system. But it seems unlikely either will make it in to the production Niro EV, at least not for now.
Kia don ‘t have anything to say about what the Niro EV’s powertrain will offer, but it’s not too much of a stretch to assume it will be remarkably similar to the Hyundai Ioniq EV.
Alongside the Kia EV Concept, Kia will also reveal an interactive ‘Beyond Autonomous Driving’ Exhibition with three interactive cockpits designed to show how new technologies will be incorporated , including 5G connections and pioneering HMI.
The new Kia Niro EV Concept will debut at CES on Monday 8 January 2018.
