The Ford Mondeo 2011

T%he Ford Mondeo 2011 - launched at Moscow

We have details of the 2011 Ford Mondeo – which has debuted at the Moscow Motor Show – including prices, specifications, photos and video.

Ford has revealed the 2011 Ford Mondeo this morning at the Moscow Motor Show, and although we’ve already told you much of what’s on offer it seems worthwhile recapping, plus we have some new photos and video of the 2011 Mondeo.

As we said back in June when we had the first details of the 2011 Mondeo, Ford has given it a few cosmetic tweaks to freshen it up and had a serious play with the oily bits.

On the cosmetic front the new Mondeo gets ‘Kinetic-icized’ to keep its DNA in line with the rest of the Ford range. On the outside the main changes are new bumpers and grill, more rounded bonnet and some LED lights up front and some LED tech on the rear lights.

The inside gets a new centre console and new trim materials which Ford say makes the Mondeo feel more upmarket. There’s extra kit as well with new sound systems, SatNav and LED courtesy lights and new options like Lane Departure Warning, Driver Alert, Auto High Beam, a Blind Spot Information System, Speed Limiter and a rear view camera.

Engines on offer include the 1.6 and 2.0 litre petrol from the current Mondeo and a new 2.0 litre EcoBoost (a 1.6 litre EcoBoost will join the party later) with diesel options being a 2.2 Duratorq with 200PS and a 115, 140 and 163PS version of the 2.0 litre Duratorq. Prices start from £17,295 with prices matching the current model, except the top-spec Mondeo Titanium where prices start from £19,945, £200 more than currently to reflect the additional goodies as standard.

Full model details below plus a video of the 2011 Mondeo and a decent-sized photo gallery.

Should be enough to keep Mondeo fans busy.
