The 2016 Bentley Continental GT Speed gets more power and more torque and a new GT Speed Black Edition arrives as a coupe or convertible.
The Bentley Continental GT Speed is already an incredible performer – despite being something of a heavyweight – but Bentley are upping the stakes once again with even more power and torque for the 2016 GT Speed and a new GT Speed Black Edition.Power from the Bentley’s 6.0 litre W12 increases from 626bhp to 633bhp and torque from 604lb/ft to 620lb/ft, the result of which is an improvement in the 0-60mph sprint from 4.1 to 3.9 seconds and a rise in top speed to 206mph.
Not only has Bentley upped power for the GT Speed, it’s also introducing a new GT Speed option – the Black edition – with the same power upgrades bu a raft of titivations too.
The changes Bentley ahs wrought to create the Back Edition include black gloss treatment for the exterior brightware, black 21″ alloys, red or black brake calipers, contrast contours for the front splitter, side skirts and rear diffuser in four different shades – Hallmark, Beluga, St James’ Red and Cyber Yellow – which can also be used on the door mirrors too.
Inside, Bentley continues with the dark theme with vivid highlights with carbon fibre for the fascia, centre and roof consoles and contrast leather in Porpoise, Beluga, Pillar Box Red or Cyber Yellow.
