2011 Mercedes C Class Coupe leaks ahead of Detroit
The 2011 Mercedes C CLass Coupe has leaked out ahead of an official reveal at the Detroit Motor Show next week.
It’s Motor Show time soon – in Detroit next week. I know, you’ve only just got over Christmas and New Year and the last thing you need when you’re trying to work out how much you overspent at Christmas is details of lots of shiny new metal. But it all kicks off on Monday – like it or not – which means it’s ‘Leak Time’.
You can probably expect a leak or three in the next day or two as car makers have to entrust their secrets to us hacks ahead of the game so we can prepare copy. And not everyone is ready to honour an embargo, and embargoed images and info does have a habit of leaking out as temptations overcome those who handle the bumph. Today’s leak is the 2011 Mercedes C Class Coupe, courtesey of Auto Bild. Or if you’re on the Colonial side of the Pond, the 2012 C Class Coupe.
Auto Bild have obviously only got the photo rather than any specific info, but coming hard on the heels of the reveal of the 2011 Mercedes C Class a couple of weeks ago, it seems likely the 2011 C Class Coupe – a replacement for the Mercedes CLC – isn’t going to stray too far from being a two-door version of the saloon, complete with similar trim and engine options.
But we’ll find out for sure in a few days.
