The last episode of Top Gear Series 20, Episode 6, is on tonight with the new Range Rover Sport, Jaguar F-Type, London Buses, the ‘Best of British’ cars and Mark Webber is the F1 star in a reasonably priced car.

It’s time for Messrs Clarkson, May and Hammond to wander off to sunny climes for their summer hols, so tonight’s episode of Top Gear – episode 6 of Series 20 – is the last in the current series. But it looks set to be a cracker.
But the meat of Top Gear tonight revolves around two of JLR’s latest cars – the new Range Rover Sport and the new Jaguar F-Type.
Richard Hammond gets to play with the new Range Rover Sport, a Sport that looks like it can still do all the Land Rover off-road stuff with aplomb, but can finally hold its head up high in the company of cars like the Porsche Cayenne and BMW X5 on-road.
Jeremy gets to play with the new Jaguar F-Type Roadster, a car that promises much and harks back to the glory days of Jaguar as the first proper sports car from Jaguar since the E-Type. Will Jeremy decide it’s a worthy successor, or will he see it as a bit of a let-down?
The focus on two of JLR’s latest cars leads to a celebration of all things British and Automotive, with a Top Gear gathering on The Mall of all the greatest British cars, bikes and almost anything with wheels and engines, from the Jaguar and new RRS via the new McLaren P1, the Aston Martin One-77, a selection of F1 cars, motorbikes…. A proper petrolhead feast for the eyes.
The star in the reasonably priced car tonight won’t be driving the new Vauxhall Astra, as it’s F1 driver Mark Webber at the Top Gear track, so TG have had to get the old Suzuki Liana out of mothballs to see if Mark can beat Lewis Hamilton’s time round the Dunsfold track.
It looks like Top Gear is going out on a high with the 6th, and final, episode of series 20. You can watch it tonight at 8pm on BBC2.
