Mercedes has launched the SLK 2LOOK Edition - just in time for summer!
It’s just 15C, and looking out of the window there are puddles forming as the grey skies deposit endless drops of rain on to the lush greenery. But, hey! It must be Summer, because Mercedes has churned out a limited edition model of their compact SLK folding tin-top – the Mercedes SLK 2LOOK Edition.
The Mercedes SLK 2LOOK gets the 200 KOMPRESSOR engine and comes in a simple colour choice – Black or White. But if you feel like splashing the cash you can have the metallic versions – Obsidian Black or designo Mystic White. To compliment the paint job you get a set of 18″ alloys in either silver or dark chrome. You also get the requisite ‘2LOOK’ badges so the neighbours know you bought something a bit ‘Special’.
Move to the inside and you get black and white Nappa leather abounding, and Mercedes throws in the very good Airscarf option to keep you warm (a definite requirement in the UK) and a set of heated seats.
Drop-tops sell well at this time of the year, so the 150 Mercedes SLK 2LOOK Editions that are on offer in the UK will get snapped up quite quickly. If you like the toys on offer you are saving a bit on the standard spec car plus options, but at £31,235 it’s not the bargain of the century.
Looks OK, though.

The slk stopped being a hairdressers car when mercedes brought out the new one. But it looks like the mercedes 2look has gone back to the past. Black and white leather eh. Hairdressers car! Definitely!!
