As we’ve mentioned before, the Lexus LF-A Supercar has been a long time coming. It is now four years since Lexus teased us with the possibility and it seemed for a while as if it was just that – a tease and nothing more.
But we’ve seen the Lexus LF-A out testing in close to production trim lately, which indicates that the car is finally going to make its production debut. Add to that the news that the new Lotus Esprit will get the V10 from the LF-A and it starts to looks like a certainty.
And now you can throw in to the mix the first UK sight of the Lexus LF-A, as the Lexus supercar is due to make an appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed next month. But Toyota are also throwing in a few other goodies for Goodwood.
In addition the the LF-A, Toyota are also bringing along the Lexus IS-F Racing. Timo Glock is also coming along to drive Toyota’s F1 TF108, the last of the ‘Big Wing’ F1 cars. Also on display, and in action, will be a number of Toyota Race cars and Rally cars.
The Goodwood Festival of Speed is a great day / weekend out. Thoroughly recommended.
