Wey Classics is a family run business offering a wide variety of services for your classic car requirements. For vintage car restoration, servicing & repairs get genuine car parts & top-notch service from experienced mechanics & restorers.

Although we specialise in MG’s, we are expert at undertaking any classic car work. We have been trading for 30 years and have built a reputation for a quality and reliable service.

CLASSIC CAR SERVICING

Our fully qualified mechanics offer expert routine servicing of your beloved classic as well as MOT testing, mechanical repairs and breakdowns and replacement of any major components such as gearbox or engine. We also carry out any electrical repairs from replacement of complete wiring looms to correction of faulty earths or loose connections.

To help and assist we can provide you with a lift to Clandon Station (which is on the Waterloo line/Guildford line) or alternatively you are welcome to the use of one of our Courtesy cars. (Limited numbers so please ask if you would like one at the time of booking your service).

CLASSIC CAR RESTORATION

Full or part restorations

Either a complete ground up, nut and bolt restoration or a part type. Whichever suits your needs and your pocket. We can either do your own car or supply one for you and build it to whatever specification you require. One of our specialities is engine-bay detailing and we will be proud to show you our work in one of our cars for sale.

Interior Trim

We use quality materials for our carpets and trim with a choice of leather or cloth for seat covers. We also offer a choice of hoods – Vynide or Double Duck. A fitting service is also available.

Stage Payments 

If the work you require doing is of a substantial nature, then we can offer staged payments and an extended timescale to soften the blow to the Bank balance.

CLASSIC CAR BODYWORK

Accident repairs

Estimates are given for all accident repairs (we are recognised by all the Insurance companies as experts in the repair of classic vehicles.)

Welding

Be it for a small MOT repair to the repair of rust and the ravages of time our bodyworkers are very skilled welders and welcome you to come and see how the work is progressing (no need to make an appointment just drop in).

Resprays

We can carry out a localised repair and match your car’s colour with our newly installed mixing scheme or carry out a full bare metal respray to concours standard if you so desire

CLASSIC CAR PARTS

To provide all our Mechanical, Body and Restoration Services, we naturally carry a very comprehensive stock of parts. These are all available for sale over the counter.

Any parts we do not carry or are out of stock of at the time of your visit can be obtained very quickly – if necessary the same day!
We also carry a limited supply of second-hand parts.
