Lexus RX 450h Sport adds to Lexus UK RX range

The Lexus RX 450h – the biggest Lexus SUV in the UK – broadens its appeal with the arrival of the RX 450h Sport in the UK in 2018.

The Lexus RX 450h may not be the most dynamic large SUV you can buy, but it is hugely appealing.

We reviewed the RX 450h F Sport earlier this year and found it to be a big SUV with real appeal, delightfully refined and able to deal with urban driving and motorway cruising with equal alacrity.

That F Sport was the pick of the range for us – with a great spec and decent price – but now Lexus are about to launch the ‘F Sport Light’ with the arrival of the RX45h Sport in the UK from 2018.

Based on the current Luxury trim RX, the new RX Sport comes with a chunk of black finish exterior highlights including a statement spindle grille with horizontal bars and chrome surround, 20″ black alloys, black mirror housings and black rear diffuser.

Lexus hasn’t actually decided exactly what spec the UK’s Sport will have, but it will come with LED lights, auto high beam, smooth leather or fabric upholstery, Pioneer Sound and Lexus Media Display.

Due to arrive in the UK in early 2018, the RX 450h Sport is likely to nudge in to the RX range at around £50k.
